Continental Hotel Waffles

One quart sifted flour

Three Teaspoons baking powder

One Teaspoon of Salt

One teaspoon of sugar

Mix all the ingredients above. Stir thoroughly and sift together.

Add"

One Tablespoon of melted butter

Six well beaten eggs

One pint of sweet milk

Cook in waffle iron that has been well greased and heated. Serve hot
